Darth Vader represents the natural imperialistic tendancies of society. The battle ensues between Hero and Darth. Just as Hero is about to eliminate the enemy, he is fooled with mentos. The mentos represent commercial interests of the empire, and the materialistic desires of the masses. In this case the empire uses the catchy theme song and tasty candy to make Hero forget the ongoing battle. Just as he accepts the mentos, the empire strikes him down, steals his belongings, and destroys the planet.
